Hi, I'm Daekeon.
I craft user-centric digital products that drive engagement and satisfaction.

Currently, at Ubisoft Düsseldorf, I'm immersed in the world of gaming, where I focus on creating immersive and intuitive interfaces that resonate with players globally.

My design philosophy is rooted in a deep understanding of user behavior and a passion for creating solutions that solve real problems. I believe in the power of data-informed design, using insights to guide my decisions and improve user engagement and satisfaction through strategic design. I'm always striving to create experiences that are both effective and enjoyable.

Beyond the screen, I firmly believe in continuous learning and enjoy exploring new technologies and design trends. When I'm not designing, you'll likely find me traveling the world. I am always excited to discover new places I've never been before and take pictures and videos. I am also passionate about enjoying concerts, games, and esports. These interests provide fresh perspectives as I'm also a user there, and I bring them to my design work.

Ubisoft / Senior Product Designer

(Under NDA) Leading design for Achievements feature across desktop and console at Ubisoft Connect.
(Under NDA) Led design for an internal product that supports onboarding for new Ubisoft employees.
(Under NDA) Led & Supported the design of several internal tools that support Ubisoft Connect's tech operation team and multiple game production teams.
Led design for Homepage, Key Activation for Ubisoft Connect PC Client and Mobile Companion App (Google Play / Apple App Store).
Designed visual assets and promotion websites for the Live Operation team in Uplay PC (currently known as Ubisoft Connect). Some curated works are available on Behance.

Blizzard Entertainment / Associate Designer

Created localized logo assets for Hearthstone: The Boomsday Project in Korea and Japan
Designed promotion websites and visual assets for news & CRM content. Some curated works are available on Behance.
(Under NDA) Designed an internal tool for a PC cafe business in the SEA region and several incubation projects.
